The Gladstone Industry Leadership Group comprises of five member companies:

GILG was formed in December 2008. The Group’s member companies have publicly committed to continuous improvement in areas of community concern such as the environment, health and safety, employment and infrastructure as well as to honestly share information with Gladstone communities.

The Group’s first priority has been to work with the Gladstone community and Industry to resolve community concerns over health risks from air emissions. While in past years there have been significant improvements, Industry acknowledges that there is still more to do to help make Gladstone a great place to live, work and play.

Industry recognises that the Gladstone community has an important role as watchdogs and critics of their performance. Satisfying your concerns is vital to Industry’s long term future. As a result GILG’s priorities are to improve Industry’s community engagement, environmental transparency and accountability for their performance.
